1 Meditation increases brain functionality. Meditation can increase the blood flow around your brain, meaning the stronger the flow of blood the better the brain will perform.


2 Meditation can reduce stress by reducing the production of the hormone cortisol. The hormone can suppress the immune system and make you feel on edge or anxious for no reason. 


3 Meditation can increase serotonin.  Serotonin is your ‘happy’ hormone.


4 Meditation can boost our immune system. The reduction in stress and the balancing of our hormones will lead to a boosted immune system and better wellbeing. 


5 Meditation will reduce muscle tension and stress around the body.


6 Meditation can increase our attention span. We engage the pre-frontal cortex part of our brain when we meditate, this part of the brain is responsible for our focus and problem-solving skills.


7 Meditation increases our learning capacity. By stimulating the pre-frontal cortex of the brain we are awakening the brain to the potential to learn 


8 Meditation will improve your appreciation and meaning. By taking time out of your day, allowing your brain to switch off from everything going on, you’ll learn to appreciate what is important in your life, what you like and what you don’t.
